League football in Nigeria in 2014 saw some individuals showed what they can do, Gbolahan Salami of Warri Wolves and Osaguona Ighodaro of Enugu Rangers (both former players of 3SC of Ibadan) made the headline at some point in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with the number of goals they both scored.
Who Won It Between Udoh And Emem?

As the league progressed, two names turned up the heat, they both scored goals and changed the pace at which goals were scored in the league and suddenly it looked like Jude Aneke's twenty goals which was the highest goals scored in the Nigeria Professional Football League at that time will be knocked off.

Both players came from a club based in
Uyo, Mofn Udoh and Emem Eduok both left Akwa United FC known as the 'Promise Keepers' at some point to Enyimba FC of Aba and Dolphins FC of Portharcourt respectively.

With just six games to go in the 2014 season this was how the league goal scorers chart looked like:

Mfon Udoh, Enyimba Int’l FC- 15, Ighodaro C. Osaguona Rangers Int’l FC-14, Salami Gbolahan Warri Wolves FC-14, Peter Ebimobowei Bayelsa United FC-14
    Emem Eduok Dolphins FC- 12

As at week 35, Emem Eduok was on nineteen goals while Mfon Udoh was on eighteen goals, it became much more interesting at the end of week 36 when both players hit the twenty goal mark.

The two players, Emem and Udoh hit Jude Aneke's record as at week 36 and had two games to break the two years old record but in the end it was Enyimba's Mfon Udoh who scored more goals to set a new record of highest goals scored in the league with twenty-three goals.

So who the battle between Mfon Usoh and Emem Eduok?

    Mfon Udoh:
NPFL highest goal scorer with 23 goals
    Scored 3  Fed Cup goals
    Scored against Dolphins in Porthacourt
Won the Fed Cup with Enyimba

    Emem Eduok:
Scored six goals in a league match (Dolphins against Nembe City)
