  • Falconets Set For Black Princess Test

    Nigeria's U-20 women National team, The Falconets will depart Abuja Wednesday for Accra Ghana for an international friendly against the Black princess.

    The Falconets will play two matches on Friday 6th and Sunday 8th June 2014. It is part of friendlies to prepare the team for the FIFA U-20 women's world cup slated for August in Canada.

    Head coach, Peter Dedevbo says 22 players have
    been listed to play the two matches.

    "I need to give all players the opportunity to  show their skills and seek a place in the final list for Canada, especially the new players".

    Dedevbo says the girls are physically and mental fit to take on the Ghanaian side, promising a better outing for Nigeria.

    "I take this match not just as a friendly, but as an opportunity to proof the superiority of the Falconets in the continent".

    Team captain, Patience Okaeme says they are going to fight hard to win all two matches.

    "We will not come back empty handed".

    Ghana and Nigeria are the two countries to represent the continent in the 7th edition of the FIFA U-20 women's world cup.

    The Falconets are expected back on Monday 9th
