The Ikorodu-based academy will face the likes of Muscat Academy, Adastra and Precor Emirates Isles for a ticket to the next round of the competition which will see young but talented footballers from across the world fight for the top prize at stake.
The Buruj contingent will depart Muritala Mohammed International Airport on Sunday aboard Emirates Airliner, and the young players have vowed to be good ambassadors of the country both on and off the pitch.
The organisers of the tournament, a UK-based sports and leisure management company, Team Tours Direct, led by Terry O'Neill, have disclosed that everything have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free tournament where all the participants will enjoy themselves in a friendly but competitive environment.
The Dubai tournament will be the first among many where Buruj Sports Academy will expose its players this year 2016. Others are the English Super Cup, the Welsh Super Cup and the Turkish Super Cup, amongst others.
