The Nigeria National League Season finally see its climax as Remo Stars Football Club travel down to Lagos to face COD United.
After a long weeks of rest and preparation the Sky Blue Stars will hope to do a double over the Lagos based team in other to achieve its dream of getting a promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Ahead of this encounter Head coach Fatai Osho has indicated that the League is not over for the team despite the slim chance of qualification and everyone in the team will perform at its very best to take advantage of the slim chance.
"We have a slim chance of picking a promotion ticket and we need everyone to be on top of their game because the league is not over yet,"
"We’ve put ourselves in a difficult position with the last game performance - not everyone expected us to drop point against Abia Warriors at home but we have to pick ourselves up and fight to the last.
"The first leg in Ijebu Ode was an interesting one, they came out good but we were able to contain them and eventually won 2-0.
"We’ll take it as we do any game, and go for the win.
We want to give our fans who won't be watching something to rejoice with.
"The prize at stake on Saturday night is Premiership football next season, something we want so much.
"It is really important to us," he said. "The Club deserves to be there, as you can see we have worked hard, and for the players there is nothing better than to compete in it.
"It’s the highest level of football league here in Nigeria , and the place you want to be as a club.
So it’s vital to see things through, and I am confident in the team."
