Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike arrived Ataturk airport, Istanbul on Wednesday to an impressive welcome courtesy of Fenerbehce fans displaying the yellow and blue banners of the club.
The 13million euros rated player who will earn 2.4million euros per year has agreed
a four year contract with Fenerbahce and he'll undergo medicals today. Emenike,26, is back at the Turkish club he joined two years ago without featuring for Fenerbahce in any match before leaving for Russia to join Spartak Moscow.
Emenike who just came back from a long injury lay off is expected to continue his goal scoring form with the "Yellow Caanaries" after scoring 3goals for Spatak Moscow in four appearances this season in the Russian league.
The energetic forward helped the Nigerian squad to triumph at the Africa Cup of Nations held in South Africa this year and he is expected to also feature in the friendly match tagged "Madela Challenge" between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bafan Bafana of South Africa on the 14th of August 2013.
