It's now confirmed that Oguchi Onyewu has signed a new contract with English Championship club, Charlton Athletic till June 2015, the club website has reported.

The USA Internationl defender, Onyewu joined Charlton Athletic in
October on a short term deal and he has only made two appearances for the Red Robins. He was initially meant to stay at the club till January but he has now extended his stay at Charlton Athletic till the end of this season.

Oguchi Onyewu made his Charlton debut coming off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road in November.
The defender, Onyewu,32, has won 69 caps for the USA and he has featured at the FIFA World Cup twice.
