El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri have confirmed to SL10.ng that 14 new players have joined the Desert Warriors.
The northern based team will play their home games away from home due to security concern in Borno. They'll host Nasarawa United in their league opener this weekend in Kano.
Players from Premier League, National League and non League teams were signed by El-Kanemi Warriors for the new season scheduled to start today.Okey Egbo and Daddy John joined from Plateau United, Richard Ochayi from FC Taraba, Opara Chukwuebuka came in from Abia Warriors, Emmanuel Agali joined from Mary Land United, Kelly Paul from Plateau United, Marshal Ani from Kaduna United, Francis Sylvester from Crown, Giwa Ahmed from Crown, Emmanuel Tanko from nigerian Prison, Peter Jang from Gombe United, Yaro Yaro from Plateau United, Tammy Tams from Sharks and James Atamba from Enyimba.
El-Kanemi warriors will start the 2014/2015 NPFL campaign at home against Nasarawa United on Sunday.
