Prime Football Club has signed 15 new players in readiness for the 2014/2015 Nigeria National League which Is scheduled to kick off next month.
The Omoluabi Giants, expressed confidence in the 30-man list released by the technical crew in a statement signed by the club's spokesman, Tunde Shamsudeen.
The team stated that the quality of the players recruited will help the club to secure promotion to the Globacom Premier League at the end of the season.
The recruited players include experienced centre back, Sola Akilapa who moved from Sunshine Stars of Akure, Segun Eyitayo, and the duo of Ayobami Ojo and Kamaldeen Suleiman from Crown FC of Ogbomosho.
Others are Olaiya Azeez from Gray's Intl of Ede, the trio of Monsuru Adio, Soji Olajoyetan and Damola Fakayode moved from Ekiti United.
The Omoluabi Giants also recruited Toki Taofiki from Pele FC of Inisha, Bassey Effiong from Lille FC, Olalere Dauda from FC Abuja, Abdulsalam Azeez from Hunter FC of Oshogbo, Mamud Akorede from FC Ebedei of Sagami and Adebayo Kehinde from Ogbomoso United.
The old players who were retained include Captain Olapade Waheed, and his assistant, Mojeed Yusuf, as well as Waheed Popoola, Abdullah Fatai, Aleem Adebayo, Olalere Akeem and Gbadegesin Ojo.
Others are goalkeeper, Moroof Olasupo, Sanmi Okeowo, Lekan Oseolohun, Seun Oloke, Bisi Olagunju, Jimoh Bamigboye and Sileola Hammed.
Shamsudeen further stated that the team isn't done yet for the new season, that the crew are working on sticking together old and new players of the team.
