  • NNWL 2014/2015 Season Starts With Four Away Wins

    The Nigeria Nationwide League (a third level football league in Nigeria) 2014/2015 started with four away wins as teams from Oyo, Cross River, Abuja and Kano secured maximum points on the road.

    Afijio United from Oyo state got a loan goal in Ife as Ooni FC just couldn't do enough, former Nigeria National League (NNL) side NAF FC and Unicem Rovers started life in the lower division on a winning note, both teams secured a 1-2 win in Bauchi against ASA United and in Uyo against Ibom Youth respectively. 

    The derby in Kano between Wudil United FC and Shekarau Babes ended 1-2 in favour of Shekarau Babes.

    The former club of Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, My People FC got a convincing 3-1 in Lagos against Ikare United from Ondo State while COD United FC lost in Ilaro,Ogun State to Juvenile FC 2-1.
