The first double header of the second stanza in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) will be hosted in Port Harcourt, both Dolphins FC and Sharks FC will host Nasarawa United and Warri Wolves respectively at the Sharks Stadium.
The double header was billed to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium but both clubs opted to play at the Sharks Stadium because they require to put some firm
arrangements involving cost and approvals to effect a move to the new stadium which has not been completed yet.
Dolphins FC of Portharcourt are currently languishing on the 19th position on the log and Coach Stanley Eguma has been under intense pressure to chun out the needed results so as to avoid relegation at the end of this season.
However his opponenets Nasarawa United have not been impressive this season under the tutelage of their former Coach Baba Ganaru who joined Kano Pillars recently.
Coach Kabiru Dogo who has been told to take charge of the team on an interim basis will lead the Solid Miners this weekend against Dolphins FC.
Sharks FC will face a huge task as they battle it out with Warri Wolves in the second game of the day.
The struggling Portharcourt side seem to have found their rhythm in recent games since Coach Festus Allen took over as the head Coach but he faces a resurgent Warrri Wolves side who have gannered momentum having been cleared of their two months owed salaries.
The Blue Angels have reportedly lost most of their key players in the transfer window notably their Top Striker Christian Pyagbara who joined Enyimba.
Warri Wolves will be hoping to consolidate on their recent performances which has seen them sit on the third position on the NPFL log and will also inflict more wounds on the deplicted Sharks team whose players are leaving at the moment.
The Seasiders will bank on Gbolahan Salami's goals to make the difference.
