Nigeria's next opponent in Group G of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier, Egypt have lined two international friendlies to prepare ahead of both 2017 AFCON qualifiers and 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The seven-time African champions, Egypt will face the winner between Sierra Leone and Chad in a 2018 World Cup qualifiers in November but before then the Pharaohs will play two friendly matches in UAE against Senegal and Zambia on 8 and 11 of October just as the Super Eagles play both Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon on the same date in Belgium.
Both Nigeria and Egypt will face-off in an AFCON qualifier on March 23,2016 but after two games, Egypt tops the group with six points (Tanzania 3-1, Chad 5-1) while Nigeria sits in the second spot with four points (Chad 2-0, Tanzania 0-0).
