  • England Name Nigerian Starlet, Ugbo In U17 World Cup Squad

    England manager, Neil Dewsnip has named the English squad to the upcoming Under-17 World Cup and Chelsea youngster, Ike Dominique Ugbo made the list.

    The Chelsea youngster, Ugbo who is eligible to represent Nigeria made his debut for Chelsea in the U18-squad as a 15-year old in 2014 and earned a call up to the 2015 Under-17 European Championships. 
    England is expected to travel to Chile later in October to get their campaign at the World Cup started against Guinea on October 17 then face Brazil on October 20 then battle South Korea in final group match. 

    England Squad:

    Goalkeepers: Paul Woolston (Newcastle United), Will Huffer (Leeds United), Alfie Whiteman (Tottenham Hotspur) 

    Defenders: Danny Collinge (VfB Stuttgart), Ro-Shaun Williams (Manchester United), Easah Suliman (Aston Villa), James Yates (Everton), Jay DaSilva (Chelsea), Tayo Edun (Fulham)
