Washington Spirit striker, Francisca Ordega will be out for 45 days due to a chondral defect on her right knee.
The Spirit confirmed that Ordega,23 who has scored four goals and made three assists in the National Women's Soccer League will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair the injury and she is expected to make a full recovery.
“Franny has had a great first half of the season. She has made great strides and improvements in her game. We all feel as bad as she feels but know she will be back.”
