Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham is close to completing a season-long loan move to Newcastle United this week after it has been assured that the England U-21 international is ready to make a move to St James’ Park.
Tammy was impressive in the second tier league last season with Bristol City where he scored 26 goals which has alerted a list of Premier League sides who have shown interest in the 19-year old.
Brighton & Hove Albion were initially thought to be leading the race, but according to The Telegraph the youngster who is eligible to play for Nigeria is understood to have opened discussions with the Magpies and could be sorted out soon.
