Following the incident at Ilorin in a week 29 GLO Nigeria Premier League match between Kwara United and Warri Wolves, the League Management Company (LMC) have announce a punishment on Kwara United.
The Ilorin base team were punished as a result of fans unruly behaviour and an assault on the lines-man who was beaten at the stadium during half time.
The League Management Company ( LMC) have ordered the Afonja Warriors to pay a sum of N5million and replay their abandoned week 29 match against Warri Wolves in Abuja on Thursday, 4th of September.
The Afonja Warriors are boxed in a corner because they were told to pay N5million before Thursday or lose the maximum point to Warri Wolves. After the replay Kwara United will play at the Kwara township stadium behind close doors.
