Participating teams, Pepsi Academy, BRF academy, Poshey FC, Cowbel football academy, Farmers academy, Yobo FC, Eko Football, Remo Stars and Fame football academy will feature in the Under-15 Eko Football Talent Hunt scheduled to start on the 7th of May 2014.
Nine academies will have a rare opportunity to show case the talent they've got at the Eko Talent Hunt season 2 being organized by the
office of special assistant to the governor of Lagos State on football matters in a collaborative effort with Africa Tomorrow Plus and Werder Bremen Football Club of Germany.
Ex-Internationals like Kanu Nwankwo, Victor Ikpeba, Wilson Oruma, Tealim Fatusi, Featus Odini, Taribo West, Juliys Aghahowa, Ike Shorunmu, Gbenga Okunowo, Dosu Joseph and Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi will act as mentors and role models during the competition.
Eko Football Talent Hunt which is in its second edition apart from the competition will hold a two days seminar with the main objective of updating the technical knowhow of the proprietor and coaching staff of academies and build up their capacities towards attaining the objectives of setting up an academy will take place on the 6th & 7th of May 2014 at the Campos Mini stadium,Lagos with papers to be delivered by German Herr Rudiger Degehard, Chief Kashimawo Laloko of Pepsi football academy, Nigerian German football expert cum seminar director of ATP, Kenneth Eze, Godwin Dud Orumen and Kunbi Titiloye.
