  • Wikki Tourist Sign Three Players, Drops Three

    The management of Wikki Tourists football club of Bauchi has approved the disengagement of three players as proposed by the technical crew of the team lead by Coach Tunde Abdulrahaman.

    The chairman of Wikki Tourist FC Suleiman Abdullahi Chindo who spoke through the media officer Usman Abbas Shehu, said those affected in the sack are Kabiru Mohammed, Mustapha Shaibu and Shehu Saidu while Shammah Tanze a
    stricker, Mahammed Gidado and Christopher Okopi both defenders replaced the sacked players.

    Chindo, said the mid season recruitment became necessary for the management considering the teams position on the table. “Saying my team is on top with 31 points and the team behind me is Adamawa United with 26 points so I want to maintain the lead to the end of the season where I will take my ticket to premier where we rightly belong”

    He believes that those employed will help the team meet its target because they are tested players and commended the technical crew for a job well done and urged them to continue in this tempo to the end.

    Chindo also expressed delight with the players for been united, discipline and understanding among themselves and promised to improve their welfare as they progress and maintain their monopoly of the first position on the UNL league table.
    The Wikki boss, however, commended Bauchi state government for all the supports both moral and financial.

    Sule Chindo also use this opportunity to congratulate the newly appointed commissioner of sports Alh. Mahiru Maiwada and wish him a successful commissioning of the sports industry in the state.
