Prime Football Club have signed nine players, to strengthen their squad ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria National League. The Omoluabi Giants have moved to bolster squad with nine new signings according to the club spokesperson, Tunde Shamsudeen.
Prime have signed, Ekiti United duo Arinze Oyota and
Monday Daniel, also secured Crown FC duo, Wale Adigun and Wale Bello.
The Oshogbo-based club have also signed local players from the State of Osun, namely Akeem Olalere from Afijio FC, Bolaji Rasaq Alaji from Gray's International FC, and Saheed Azeez from Golden Boys FC.
Among others are Chidiebere Ajoku from Nekede United of Owerri and Israel Daniel from Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt.
Meanwhile, the club chairman, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, is confident his club will be up to the challenge in their tough promotion quest to the NPL. Ogunjobi, stated that the addition of the 9 players would inject the needed quality and variety to the club ahead of the club’s NNL second round fronts.
“We are happy with the players we have recruited. It will go a long way in making our season unique,” the Pillar of Sports in the State of Osun said.
Ogunjobi also revealed that some of these players could make their league debut with the matches slated for the this weekend.
