    Ivorian and Manchester City star, Yaya Toure has again been named the best player in Africa. 

    The Elephant of Côte d'Ivoire captain, Yaya Toure has now equaled Cameroonian legend, Samuel Eto'o Fils record of winning the CAF Award- African player of the year four times, 2011-2014.

    The Ivorian captain who will lead the Elephant of Côte d'Ivoire to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Equatorial Guinea got the votes of
    coaches and technical directors of the 54 member-countries of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) who were eligible to vote.

    The Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure won a fourth straight CAF African Footballer of the Year Award for 2014 in Lagos on Thursday night as he fend off a strong challenge from Gabon and Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nigeria's Super Eagles captain, goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, 

    Nigeria's senior women football team, the Super Falcons emerge as 2014 Womens national team of the year while Asisat Oshoala won a double, she was crowned Africa’s best female player of the year and Youth Player of the Year.
