Adidas and the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) have agreed to extend the contract between them after the German sports wear company had earlier indicated that it would not renew the contract with the NFF.

Adidas in a letter to the
NFF in 2014 frowned at some unprofessional attitude of some players and team officials who were alleged to endorse competitor's brand during national assignment and stated that it would not renew the contract with the NFF.
According to Thisday, the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick spoke to reporters on Tuesday night about the new development with Adidas.
''We are still with adidas and our teams will continue to play in adidas equipment in the new year. Adidas have agreed to give us an extension after our legal and marketing departments wrote them. We are yet to agree on the duration of an extension," Pinnick said.
