Zamalek SC coach, Mohamed Helmi has praised his squad for the 4-1 win over Nigerian champions, Enugu Rangers in the first leg, first round of the Caf Champions League but cautioned that the White Knight must remain focus.
The five time African champions looked almost certain to have secured a spot in the lucrative group stage of the competition but the result from the second leg tie scheduled to take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu will determine which team will make it to the group stage. The Nigerians need to score three goals without conceding to stand any chance to remain in the competition.
"Victory is just a step towards qualification, which will require effort and focus in Nigeria. Zamalek played a great game. I deeply thank the players for the great show,” Helmi told Zamalek SC official website
