  • Zamalek's Nassef and Tawfik Out Of Enugu Rangers Clash

    Egyptian club, Zamalek SC will miss the services of midfielder, Ahmed Tawfik and defender, Mohamed Nassef when the Whites file out against Nigerian champions, Enugu Rangers in the first round of 2017 Caf Champions League in Egypt on Sunday.

    According to reports in Egypt, both players have been ruled out of the all important clash due to injury. Tawfik, 25, is out to an ankle injury while Nassef is nursing a foot injury. While Zamalek were drawn bye, Enugu Rangers eliminated Algerian side, JS Saoura on the away goal rule in the preliminary round.

    The five time African champions and 2016 Caf Champions League finalist, Zamalek SC will have to battle the Flying Antelopes for a spot in the lucrative group stage on Sunday and travel to Nigeria a week later for the return leg.
