The Management of Wikki Tourists football Club of Bauchi have commended the wonderful performance of the match officials that handled a week 22 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) match between Wikki Tourist and El-Kanemi Warriors at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi.
The Chairman of Wikki Tourist, Alh. Sule Chindo, made the commendation through the media officer of the club Usman Abbas, where he said the likes of Mr. Okobi S. N. from Edo State who serve as the centre referee for the match should be encouraged by the organizes of the league in order to improve the standard of the nations football based on his courage and the professional way he handled the match.
Chindo said there was nothing wrong with goal scored by El-Kanemi. It was a good goal after utilizing their opportunity they created.
Sule Chindo, accused the so called fans that rushed into the pitch after El-Kanemi put in their goal which disrupt the continuation of the match causing the abandonment of the match with one goal against Wikki Tourist.
He said if not for the hand work of sponsored miscreant called fans by enemies of the club, there was much time for Wikki Tourist to equalize and register the wining goal because there was too much pressure on the visiting team believing that even if it is one minute left it is very important in football surprise may spring up with in that time.
The Wikki Tourist boss explained that now that the match was abandoned he doesn't know what action the league body will take but what ever decision taken for or against his team he will take it in good faith and will not forgive and forget the miscreants called fans that always come to the stadium to cause disaffection any time the team is playing at home .
Chindo however, expressed disappointment with the coach of El-Kanemi Warriors, Zakari Baraje for claiming that two of his boys were beaten and hospitalized, in all honesty this isn't true, unacceptable and unpardonable especially to a senior coach of his caliber in Nigeria.
He then commended the efforts of Wikki Tourists supporters club for arresting the situation by protecting the officials of the match, officials of El-Kanemi and their payers which are target of the miscreants create an unwanted scene.

Stupid aboki's. they are causing more problems in this country. BK blowing every where.killing inocent children and women. they beat up match officials like anythiing. it happened in Kaduna,Jos,Minna,Jigawa. why must you people do this every time. sooon your state will turn to desert because everyone will abscond/flee from your state
