The Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL) hit the headline when Plateau Feeders and Police machine paraded strikers who scored goals in every minute. How they did that is still astonishing.
This time around another funny scoreline might come up again if the Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL) board fail to brace up.
In group D of the NNWL, Kano base team, Meridian FC sponsored by Meridian airline are second with 29 points and plus 11goals with a match in hand while Abuja based Court of Appeal are third with two outstanding matches, 26points and plus 4goals.
Unlike Meridian FC who have just a match to go, Court of Appeal have two matches at hand (Meridian FC Vs Sadauna FC week 18 ) (Sardauna FC,Vs Court of Appeal FC week 15. Court of Appeal FC Vs Raphsody FC Week 18).
For Court of Appeal to secure promotion, a win against Sadauna (an outstanding match) will put them on the same point (29) with Meridian FC to set up a replica fixture like that of the match that produced 146goals.
Meridian FC Vs. Sadauna (both clubs based in Kano), Court of Appeal Vs Raphsody (both clubs based in Abuja).
Court of Appeal will have to score at least 9goals in their last match against relegation battling side Rapsody FC who bought 36 Lion FC of Lagos slot to feature in the NNWL. If both team picks the maximum point in their last match then goals difference will determine the team to gain promotion.
