Former Bayelsa United forward, Peter Ebimobowei scored his first goal in Al-Ahly's shirt in a comfortable 3-1 win over Ittihad El-Shorta in an Egyptian Premier League match played on Saturday.
The Nigerian, Ebimobowei who left the Restoration Boys for Egyptian giant, Al-Ahly fired blanks when he made his debut as a substitute for Ahly in a 1-0 loss to ENPPI a week ago but after starting for the first time, he got the much needed goal few minutes to half time.
Though Peter Ebimobowei who finished third with 18 goals on the scorers log last season in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) didn't finish the match due to an injury he picked but with a consistent performance in the coming games, the Nigerian will most definitely earn the confidence of Garrido.
