The congress claimed that the impeachment of Sunday Longbap was ratified by the NFF as signed by Magaji Abdullahi for the General Secretary on 13th August.
“To this effect, the congress has affirmed their total support for the present Plateau State Football Association Secretary Yakubu Dalyop as he still remain their secretary and described the so-called removal untrue,"the statement reads
The statement also added that any kangaroo election planned by the Sunday Longbap group should be ignored by members and other stakeholders as election cannot be conducted by an impeached chairman.
The congress therefore, advised NFF not to misinterpret the issue in PFA as being misled by those who do not mean well for the progress of the game.
