Amateur footballers in Nigeria will have a one in a life time opportunity to see their dream of playing at the highest level come true at the 5 A-Side Football World Championship in Thailand 2016.
The World Championship which is scheduled for March 2016 will see seven African countries represented. Football 5 World Championship (F5WC) is a five a side amateur football tournament involving 32 participating countries. Each country hosts a national qualifying tournament which takes place from July 2015 to December 2015 to find their best amateur football team.
According to the organizers of the F5WC qualifiers in Nigeria, 5Sports Ltd, qualifiers will take place in Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, Enugu, Uyo and Ibadan while the grand finale scheduled for Lagos

Winners of the competition will travel to Thailand to represent Nigeria in the 5 A-side Football World Championship where they will compete with thirty-one countries.
The tournament which is strictly for male amateur footballers is open only to amateur players or amateur clubs who can group themselves and register to participate in the qualifiers with the minimum age pegged at 16 years and a valid international passport must be presented to start the journey to see dreams come true. It's also stated that all participants must be a resident of the country they are representing (nationality does not matter).
The World Finals which will be broadcast live on television to over 60 countries and live online streaming worldwide will also have in attendance Professional Scouts from the world’s top football clubs to lick exceptional talents.
