    The Apapa Golden Stars have maintained their winning streak in the Metro Pro League with a 4-3 win over AS Racine FC at Agege Stadium, on Wednesday.
    The Ayodeji Joseph boys drew the first blood in the 19th minute through Omodiagbe Agbonmere.

    Adeyeri Kazeem brought AS Racine back into the game with an equaliser in the 42nd minute but the joy was short lived as Golden Stars' Murtala Ibrahim and skipper Adewale Sapara increased the tally just before the break.

    NFF to unveil Super Eagles' 2014 World Cup jersey

    The Nigeria Football Federation will on Thursday unveil the new jersey of Nigeria's National Football Teams, which will also serve as the Official Jersey of the Super Eagles at the 20th FIFA World Cup finals taking place in Brazil this summer. The new and refreshing design is produced by Adidas, the official kit supplier of Nigeria National Teams and the leading kit manufacturers in the world.

    Minister of Sports and Chairman, National Sports Commission, Alhaji Bolaji Abdullahi will be special guest of honour at the event slated for the front area of the Sunday Dankaro Football House, Package B of the National Stadium Complex, Abuja, from 10am.

    All the 32 teams participating in the Nigeria National League (NNL) will start the journey to gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier League where only the big clubs in Nigeria feature.

    At the end of the race, only four teams will celebrate while another set of eight teams will relegate to Nigeria Nationwide a league (a third level league).

    The NNL will start on the 15th of February 2014 and only Tickets are up for grabs, these promotion ticket will be shared by two groups of 16 teams each. That means 16 teams from each group will fight to get one out of the two ticket meant for each group.
