Ex-international Duke Udi is on the verge of signing a deal at Sunshine Stars.
Footyalert scooped that the former Osun United coach is currently disusing with the Owena Whales and may be on the bench when Sunshine Stars visit MFM on match day 26 in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Udi was spotted at the Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu Ode where he saw the Akure outfit secured a 2-1 win over Gombe United on Sunday.
"We are disusing with Duke Udi but nothing concrete yet," a source confirmed to Footyalert
"All things been equal, I think he may be our next coach and the target will be to help Sunshine Stars beat the drop.
"Looks like everything will workout fine and it's possible that a formal announcement will be made before Wednesday.
Sunshine Stars are 17th on the NPFL table with 30 points from 25 matches.
