The Canadian head coach,Benito Floro has named a Nigerian descent, Tesho Akindele in his 23-man list for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Dominica (June 11 and June 16).

The FC Dallas striker, Tesho Akindele,23, a dual national who won the 2014 Major League Soccer (MLS) Rookie of the Year, was before now called to a Canadian training camp in November 2014 but chose to pull out at the last minute after receiving interest from the US national team.
