Crystal Palace Teen,Mandela Egbo Moves To Borussia Mönchengladbach

German Bundesliga club, Borussia Mönchengladbach have announced the signing of Anglo Nigerian teen, Mandela Egbo through the club's official website

The former Crystal Palace defender, Egbo,17 will signed a contract until 30th June 2019 and will play with the U23s in the upcoming season.

Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director, Max Eberl was glad to have Egbon who has played for England U18.

Mandela made his debut for Crystal Palace U18s at the age of 15 and last year the 17-year-old made 14 appearances for the U21s. Egbo has made 15 appearances for England, at various age groups; his most recent appearance coming with the U18s.

“We are very happy that Mandela decided to play for us. He is a player with huge potential, He can play on the right wing both offensively and defensively. Now he has the possibility to rise up through the ranks of the U23 squad and make into the first team.” said Borussia's sporting director Max Eberl.
