Plateau United Coach, Mansur Abdullahi Confident Of A Win In Lokoja

Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Plateau United Assistant Coach, Abdullahi Mansur is full of confidence as his team face Kogi United in one the biggest fixtures of NNL Matchday 5 at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja on Saturday,June 13, 2015.

Plateau United are yet to pick an away point this season in the NNL, they have lost two away games this season, conceded five goals and scored two, but Coach Mansur who has previously managed the the National U17 female football team, the Flamingoes is not moved with the statistics, he believes his side can cause a major upset when they face the Wada boys later today.

Coach Mansur stated confidently that his team, Plateau United is focused on leaving Lokoja with a desired result.

"Playing away from home is a difficult thing to do but then we have our way of getting the needed results,"said Mansur Abdullahi

"Although we haven't pick any point on the road this season, we missed one against Kaduna United in Week 3 but we lost the point few minutes to end the game 3-2"

"This will be our third game on the road this season, Kogi United former goalkeeper will be in goal for us and you know what that means when a player is playing against is former team, apart from this the preparation towards this game has been a great one and the lads have vowed to play their heart out in this very encounter" he confidently told Nigeria Sports Arena.
