Nigeria’s foremost league awards, the League Bloggers Awards (LBA), has secured a partnership with innovative city destination brand, JOS Chillin’.
Conceived by Mees Palace and Buckwyld Media, JOS Chillin' is a public-private partnership initiative to grow the tourism and entertainment sector in Jos, Plateau State and was launched in 2016.
“We are pleased to partner JOS Chillin’ as we continue to celebrate
stars in the league.
“Jos occupies an important place in the history of the domestic league considering the fact that Mighty Jets was not only one of the eight teams in the 1972 inaugural season, but also emerged maiden champions.
“Football has a role to play in boosting tourism and JOS Chillin’ is a brand that promotes tourism,” LBA Lead Strategist, Ojeikere Aikhoje said.

Speaking on the partnership, Team Leader JOS Chillin’ and MD/CEO Mees Palace, Emmanuel Adikwu said: “This is a novel concept as we seek to
promote the stars in the league in partnership with the influential LBA.
“Interestingly, Jos is home to the present log leaders, Plateau United and the coach, Kennedy Boboye, won the first LBA Manager of the Month award, this season.”
Conceived in 2009, the influential LBA remains the most-sought awards by players and coaches, in the league.
