Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has hailed the board of the Nigeria Nation-Wide League One led by Independent Chairman Mr Mohammed Alkali after entering a broadcast partnership deal with one of the cable networks in Nigeria Pipul TV in Lagos on Wednesday (10th of May, 2017).
Fresh who was part of the NFF Executive Board Members that graced the signing ceremony in Lagos expressed satisfaction through his SA on media Olaoluwa Aro.
"It's really a good step in the right direction for the Nigerian football, and our leagues at large," Fresh said.
The Niger State FA chairman also believes that this development in the NLO would motivate other Leagues in the country's football.
"This mega deal recorded by the NLO Committee would propel other Leagues in the country to get sponsors too. I think the Nigeria National league and the Nigeria Women league would be challenge," Fresh added.
Speaking in the same vein, NLO Independent chairman Mohammed Alkali believes that the league is a viable option for Corporate Nigeria to invest into with 189 clubs jostling for honours at the three Divisions of the league.
The deal is valued at One hundred million naira (N100,000,000) in the first year of the three years deal.
