    Tianjin Teda's John Obi Mikel Set To Resume Training After Surgery

    Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel is set to resume training after undergoing a successful surgery in England.

    According to an official statement by the Chinese Super League club,Tianjin Teda, a proper investigation on the causes of the midfielder's injury was done and it's expected he'll resume a week after the surgery.

    The statement reads:Tianjin TEDA Football Club on Mikel's injury; In mid-March the team went to Shanghai to train where Mikel got injured and the club attached great importance."

    "For the sake of thorough investigation of the causes of injury, the club arranged for the first time to Beijing Chaoyang Hospital (diagnosed as: inguinal hernia); for the sake of prudence, April 24, the club decided to send Mikel to the British diagnosis and treatment; 26 days by the doctor Diagnosed as inguinal hernia and abductor muscle injury, and in the April 29 successful completion of these two operations."
