If his sudden romance with a club based in the South Western part of Nigeria is anything to go by then ex-Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen might leave Lagos based club COD Utd FC.
The Lagos State 2013 FA Cup champions who are currently preparing for the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League (NNL) season at the Unilag Sports complex secured the services of the ex-international who guided the “White Lions” to the round of 32 in the 2013 Federations Cup and also helped COD Utd secure their NNL status in the 2012/2013 season.
According to a source who pleaded anonymity, Cerezo might leave COD Utd before the end of November . “If things work out as planned, Austin Eguavoen will leave soon. A couple of clubs want him; in fact a club based in the South Western part of the country and also feature in the Nigeria National League (NNL) are willing to meet his demand”
Eguavoen who is still with COD Utd FC, joined the Lagos base team during the second stanza of the 2012/2013 NNL season.
