Remo Stars FC left Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ekiti without a point in a rescheduled Nigeria National League (NNL) week 7 fixture against Ekiti United losing 2-1 despite taking the lead.
Captain of the Sky Blue Stars, Victor Mbaoma described the loss as a bitter pill to swallow haven surrendered a one goal lead with 5 minutes to go. Mbaoma who scored the opener was disappointed with the result.
"Its difficult to describe how i feel at the moment, we had a couple of chances we didn't convert before i scored and afterwards we failed to clear our lines. The result is difficult to accept because we had work hard and even played to get the maximum point here but that didn't happen," said Mbaoma
Remo Stars FC travel to Rojenny Stadium in Ontisha to take on Lobi Stars in the Federation Cup round of 16 tie.
