SWAN Cup 2015: We Are City Tigers

I had some real fun at the 2014 Lagos SWAN Cup with a group of guys who believed that everything is possible.

Well, were you amongst those who mocked us or those who felt these guys won't make it out of the group stage? I'm sure by now you'll tip that same group of amazing guys who no one gave a chance to last long in the tournament but some how the City Tigers (CityFm105.1 www.city1051fm.com ) got to the final though we lost to SportsDay but we enjoyed every bit.

The thought of captain of the team, Nnamdi Obayan's regular jokes even during a game will keep you refreshed, team manager, Sola Rogers takes it so serious we all knew the importance of being a
champion, Sayo Owolabi's smooth touch will make a mess of the best goalkeeper. Samson Akindele's commitment makes you want to do more, the best goalkeeper of the tourney, Chinasia saved us big time especially during penalties and Wilfred Mong, a defender who will stop Messi.

After losing the opening match to NTA, the City Tigers walked over Coolfm and defeated both Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) TVC before losing to SportDay in the final.

Now the 2014 finalist, City Tigers have been grouped for the 2015 SWAN Cup and I say with all confidence that the City Tigers will lift the trophy this year.

Predictions- in Group A, both City Tigers and Super Sports Nigeria will make it out of the group while TVC and Coolfm will qualify for Group B. NTA and Nations are good to go in Group C while in Group D, SportsDay and Complete Sports will make it out of the group.
