     Nigeria National League (NNL) team, Remo Stars FC progressed to the Round 16 of 2015 Federation Cup at the expense of the defending Champions, Enyimba Football Club via After bother side played out a 1-1 draw.

    Both teams met at the same stage in the 2013 edition of the competition but the People's Elephant of Aba knocked out the Sky Blue Stars after a 2-1 victory. Remo Stars drew first blood through Ogbonna Paul who scored his first goal for the Sky Blue Stars after his low shot on the 28th minutes left Enyimba goalie Femi Thomas rooted to the spot.

    A response was expected from the defending champions but the Premier League club were unable to break the resilient defense of the Sky Blue Stars and the lower league club took lead into half time.


    At half time the Sky Blue Stars had won over the hearts of the Benin fans with the level of performance, zeal and determination to prove a point. Uwadieagwu Ugwu gave Enyimba the much needed response in the second half as he converted a free-kick in the second half which saw the game ended 1-1.

    Ndukwe Chizoba was on form as he saved Maxson Ojobo and Okonkwo's spot Kick
    while Ezikel Bassey hit the wood work. Remo Stars Adebogun Omotayo converted the decisive penalty to spark up a moment ending with euphoria from the players and the Benin football fans after the spot kick ended 1-3.
