Beginning from August 23-28, 2015, TikiTaka Academy Nigeria Ltd, a Sister Company to TikiTaka Football Development, Sweden will be holding a Coaching Course titled 'TikiTaka Coaching Course where Participants will be trained in the TikiTaka Method.
Participants will receive step 1 and 2 trainings, lots of(up to 21) practise sessions under the supervision and tutoring of TikiTaka Football Development, Head Instructor, Tommy Johansson from Sweden
Instructors would also receive 2 X 90 minutes theoretical sessions.
In addition to the above, all participants will get a complete TikiTaka Branded kit consisting of Shirt, Short and a Jacket as well as a TikiTaka Certificate to be certified by co-founder of TikiTaka Football Development, Sweden, Borje Gustavsson as well as Head Instructor of TikiTaka Football Development, Sweden, Tommy Johansson.
The founders of TikiTaka Football Development have a combined years of over 50 years in different areas of Sports which includes : Administration, Scouting, Football Management, Technical Services and Football Developmental services.
Tony Gustavsson, a Co- Founder of TikiTaka Football Development since he began applying the TikiTaka Method which he together with Borje collectively started through TikiTaka Football Development, Sweden after researching and conducting several studies on a number of clubs have recorded outstanding feats in his Managerial Career which includes :
Helping to Lead the USA Women's Team to win Gold in the Female Football Event at the Great Olympics in 2012.
He led Tyresso FF, a Women's Football Team to the Final of the UEFA Women's Champions League in the 2013/14 Football Season. He also served in the Capacity of Assistant Head Coach when the USA Women's Team recently won the Women's World Cup in Canada less than two months ago.
Speaking with Adebayo Oluwasegun, one of the Coordinators of the TikiTaka Coaching Course, he said this won't be the first Coaching Course to be held in Nigeria but this is different because aside from the Knowledge of the TikiTaka Method regarded to be one of the most prominent football method or philosophy to be received by Instructors during the Coaching Course which Inaugural edition will be held in Nigeria , Trained Instructors would be able to earn money and financially empower themselves by organizing Mini TikiTaka Camps after their participation in the TikiTaka Coaching Course in the future.
Trained instructors who have received trainings during the TikiTaka Coaching Course(CC) would also be eligible to work with TikiTaka Football Development,its affiliated partners and sister companies in Nigeria and Africa as Camp Instructors.
Mr Adebayo Oluwasegun further said that interested participants do not have to be a certified or a trained coach, just any individual who has interest in football is eligible to attend the TikiTaka Coaching Course.
