Ex- Super Eagles goal poacher, Benedict Akwuegbu who represents Katsina United midfielder, Yushau Garba Abubakar has informed Footyalert that his client has pulled interest from top Austrian and Slovenian clubs.
The former Mighty Jets star completed a move to Katsina United in 2017 but hasn't made an appearance yet for the Chanji Boys but it has been revealed that top Austrian and Slovenian clubs, Stum Graz and Slownen Gorica are ready to offer the Nigerian a deal in the summer transfer window.
Abubakar scored a goal and created five assist for Mighty Jets in the Nigeria National League (NNL) in 2016.
''Abubakar has been scouted by two top teams in Slovenia and Austria, Stum Graz and Slownen Gorica. A deal would have pull through but nothing could be done since the January transfer window has closed but he'll make a return during the summer transfer window to sign a deal," Akwuegbu told Footyalert
''He is an excellent player, I saw him at Mighty jets of Jos in 2016, his positioning off and on the ball is a beauty to watch and I'm not surprised that these two clubs loved what they saw in Yushua Garba Abubakar.
Abubakar is expected back in Nigeria on Sunday February 19 and may be in line for selection when Katsina United visit the Sani Abacha stadium, Kano to face four time Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars on NPFL match day 10.
