Empoli have completed the signing of Faustino Anjorin from Chelsea on a permanent contract until June 2027.
The 22-year-old midfielder, of Nigerian descent, is set to start a new chapter in his career with the Italian Serie A club.
As part of the deal, Chelsea will retain 50% of Anjorin's future sale as the Stamford Bridge outfit have interest in his potential growth and development.
Anjorin, who joined Chelsea's development center at the age of seven, has been a promising talent for the English club. Despite his potential, he found limited opportunities at Chelsea, leading to his decision to join Empoli in search of regular playing time.
