    A- A+

Nigeria football has seen some interesting drama lately, but it took a different dimension during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series as the African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, failed to qualify for the tournament next year.

Meanwhile the drama in the Nigeria Football Federation gave a new story line each day as fans called for the sack of Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, but the 'Big Boss' who was out of contract with the NFF after the World Cup sat on the sidelines as he
watched funny episode after funny episode of the NFF drama.

Suddenly a new team came on board and after one of Stephen Keshi's poor displays in the AFCON qualifier he was shown the exit door, and thereafter Keshi became a lead actor in the NFF drama he had been watching. This time it wasn't just about making a loud noise, but instead it was backed up with actions (powerful ones at that).

Do you remember this comment ‘We respect Keshi's achievement, but we think it's time for him to go. We offered to sponsor him for a refresher course of his choice.’

At this time the drama in Nigeria football now commanded massive traffic from viewers such that adverts were queued up in each episode and everyone wanted to know what will happen next.

Meanwhile FIFA were busy making a loud noise with no action and in no time we got used to the term ‘FIFA deadline date’ or ‘FIFA has given Nigeria the last chance’ or ‘FIFA hammer will fall on Nigeria’.

Who Is The Real Big Boss?

A new team of coaches was named by the NFF to take Nigeria through the qualifiers while Keshi and his technical crew were told to leave. That didn't last long as the 'Big Boss' came back to continue with his job (how? We all know) and in the end the Super Eagles, who won the AFCON in 2013, couldn't qualify for the same event in 2015. No thanks to South Africa who exposed the Eagles in Uyo.

Now that Stephen Keshi, who was shown the exit door by the NFF, is back and still in charge of the Super Eagles, who is the real boss?
