    CAFCC: Bayelsa United Lost 2-0 Against Sewe Sport.

    Nigeria's only club left on the continent this season, Bayelsa United  have a tough job to do at home when the host Sewe Sport at their adopted home ground, Sapele stadium in the return leg fixture of CAF Confederations Cup.

    Since 2012 when
    Sunshine Stars played played in the CAF Champions League, no Nigerian club has played in the group stage of any CAF Competition. Bayelsa United who are currently in the final qualifying round to feature in the group stage of CAFCC lost 2-0 on the road to Sewe Sport of Ivory Coast.

    A brace by Roger Assale was enough to see of the Nigerians. Assale got a late goal in each half as Bayelsa United tried not concede even more.

    The Restoration Boys will have to score three unreplied goals to qualify for the group stage.
