Irked by the unprofessional attitude of fans and supporters of Nasarawa United in a week 26 Nigeria Premier league match, Kwara United Football of Ilorin has called on the League Management Company to closely monitor match proceedings as some clubs like Nasarawa United are ready to clinch maximum point by illegitimate means.

In a statement by the Kwara United Media Officer, Prince Olayioye Ajide, Nasarawa United fans displayed their fetish tendencies bringing pigs to the side of Kwara United on the field knowing fully well that Moslem players in Kwara side will not be comfortable and scared with unIslamic animal.
Olayioye Ajide added that Kwara United Goalkeeper Trainer, Tunji Shuaib was intimidated and his session with his goalkeepers before the match was disrupted.

The Kwara United spokesman, Olayioye noted that at this crucial stage of the league, it is not good to encourage win-at-home syndrome even as match officials were helpless in the face of death threat.
Olayioye lamented the level of decadence that has beclouded Nigerian league which often deny football followers to be discouraged watching the home league.

“It very unfortunate that we do experience unfriendly atmosphere, and reception in some centers like Nasarawa and Akure where visitors would get hostility in its highest order. I want to call on the league authority to beam their light on every center to forestall future occurrence”. Olayioye sounded.
The Media Officer said by now Nigerian league should be improving at geometric rate and not at arithmetic progression.

He observed that adequate security and other necessary provisions should be provided at match venues to ensure hitch-free game.
Olayioye said Kwara United will not be deterred with the intimidation as they only plead for enabling atmosphere to display soccer artistry.
