NNL Full Time Score, COD United still in Relegation Zone, Remo Stars Lose Chance to go Top

As expected relegation and promotion battle in the Nigeria National League (NNL) continued as NNL resumed back with week 29 matches after series of postponement.

The double derbies in Jos ended with all four teams involved (GIWA FC, Plateau United, Mighty Jets and JUTH FC) sharing points. Remo Stars threw away a chance to go top of group A because they shared points with Abia Warriors, COD united might as well prepare for life in the lower league or better still consider to buy a slot if they still wish to feature in the NNL, the White Lions lost in Benin against Bendel Insurance.

FC Taraba of Jalingo will have to give their all in their last home game because they lost to Spotlight FC and that has left them tied on points with Plateau United (43points). Fountain FC of Ekiti drew with Prime FC of Osogbo, the Osogbo team will be glad with that point in their journey to get out of the relegation zone.
