Ex-international Rafiu Yusuf from the NFF technical department was in the crowd in Machaskos when Kenya were held to a goalless draw by visiting Tanzania in a 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier on Sunday.
The winner of the fixture between Kenya and Tanzania will meet the Flying Eagles of Nigeria in the qualifying series next month.
Yusuf, who also spied on the team’s possible opponents leading up to last year’s AYC in Algeria, is expected to now make available his findings to coach Manu Garba and his crew.
The Flying Eagles are currently in Morocco ahead of a two legged friendly against th U-20 national team of Morocco.
