Mid week action in the Nigeria Premier League will go down today across different centers with focus on rescheduled games.

Jos- Giwa FC Vs. Kano Pillars

Nigeria Premier League debutant, Giwa FC of  Jos will host NPL champions, Kano Pillars at the Rwang Pam stadium Jos later today by 4pm.

The Elephant from Jos have lost once and won one
in the two matches they've played this season but Kano Pillars looked to be getting into the groove after picking a point on the road in Umuahia against Abia Warriors. This time last season Pillars have won twice on the road, a lone goal win against Wikki Tourist of Bauchi and a 3:4 victory at Ilorin against ABS FC however have struggled at the early stage of this season coupled with their embarrassing exist from the CAF Champions. League in the first round.
    Verdict- Giwa 2:1 Kano Pillars

Enugu - Rangers Int'l Vs. Nembe City

The last time both teams met, Rangers Int'l picked the maximum point in both legs. A 1:2 win in Yenegoa and a 2:0 win at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu. Though the coach of the Flying Antelopes, John Obuh is under pressure to perform and it never looked anything better when Sunshine Stars came calling in week five at Enugu, the Owena Waves forced Rangers to share point.

Against a depleted Nembe City side who don't have a compliment of a full squad, it looked like Enugu Rangers will compound the problems of Nembe City. After the Kala Ekulema  Boys were given the go ahead by the League Management Company (LMC) to participate in the league, their come back was a trip to Uyo where Akwa United trashed them by two goals to nil. At Enugu, Rangers Int'l will pick the maximum point.
    Verdict- Rangers 3:1 Nembe City

Warri - Warri Wolves Vs. Enyimba

Both side have failed to perform on the continent this season. Warri Wolves recently were knocked out in the second round of the CAF Confederations Cup while Enyimba after losing at home to AS Real Bamako in the CAF CHampions League second round, they couldn't do enough to get the needed result away to see them through to the next stage.

In the domestic scene both teams didn't win or lose when they met last season, both legs ended in barren draws. The poor run of Enyimba started when their city rivals Abia Warriors beat them at home, the People's Elephant went to Jalingo with the intension of picking at least a draw but FC Taraba exposed Enyimba's problem with a lone goal victory which compelled the management of the Aba Elephant to suspend Zakare Baraje and Monday Odige indefinitely. It's obvious that the Seasiders will capitalize on the poor form of the Aba giant when they visit Warri City stadium today.
    Verdict- Warri Wolves 2:1 Enyimba

Kaduna- Kaduna United Vs. Bayelsa United

It's likely that the second away win in the NPL this season will be recorded in Kaduna today or better still the visiting team will pick a point. Bayelsa United are the only. Nigerian club left on the continent and they are yet to lose a match in the NPL.

Kaduna United who are 18th on the log and Bayelsa United who are 5th on the log won their home games when both side met last season. The Crocodiles won by a lone goal at home while the Restoration. Boys won by 2:0 in Yenegoa.
Verdict- Kaduna United 1:1 Bayelsa United
