Former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Bassey Akpan has joined Ladan Bosso's Abia Warriors on loan until the end of the season, the club have have confirmed.
The experienced campaigner gave a good account of himself at Bayelsa United after he decided not to renew his contract at Vietnamese club Hoang Gia Lia at the end of the 2014 season.
He kept clean sheets in his first three matches against Gabros FC, Sharks and FC Taraba.
Bassey joins a club sitting in 10th place in the top flight division.
