Its no longer news that Sharks FC of Port Harcourt are languishing in the 20th position in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Blue Angels have failed to pick maximum points in the league since their 1-0 victory against Akwa United at home in Match Day 3. The Portharcourt side have lost their grip in the league as they drop points both home and on the road to the disapointment of their darling fans.

The team lacks the personnel who can chip in the goals for them as their last season Goal Poacher Christian Pyagbara just made a return to the side in the Portharcourt derby as a second half substitute.
Meanwhile, new signing Jackson Daniel have failed to hit the ground running since joining the side from Abia Warriors, forwards Ifeanyi Inyiam and Tayo Fabiyi have failed on several occasions to put the ball into the back of the net this season thereby causing their side the needed results at the end of each league game, but kudos must go to the duo of Fredrick Obomate and Fortune Omoniwari who have helped to give balance to the team in the middle  as they orchestrate proceedings and dictate play for Sharks.

The Management of Sharks FC led by Okey Kpalukwu should employ the services of a Technical Adviser so as to galvanize the side to victory since Coach Gbenga Ogunbote left due to lack of funds. He should liase with the State Goverment to ensure players salary are been paid as at when due so that they can start winning matches in the league.

As the Blue Angels prepare to battle in in the NPFL week 14 it's obvious that Sharks FC must start to pick points to avoid the drop to the lower league else if the poor performance trend continues then the Nigeria National League (NNL) will be so glad to welcome the Blue Angels to the second level football league in Nigeria.
